Scope of the service<\/h2><p data-start=\"628\" data-end=\"801\">This document governs the terms and conditions applicable to the contracting of <strong data-start=\"705\" data-end=\"739\">sworn translation services<\/strong> offered through the website traduccion-jurada.idisc.com.<\/p><p data-start=\"803\" data-end=\"1039\">The translations are carried out by <strong data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"924\">sworn translators authorized in accordance with current Spanish regulations<\/strong>, and are delivered in digital format with an electronic signature and, where selected by the Client, also in physical format.<\/p><h2>2. Definitions<\/h2><p data-start=\"1077\" data-end=\"1126\">For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions shall apply:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1128\" data-end=\"1702\"><li data-start=\"1128\" data-end=\"1188\"><p data-start=\"1130\" data-end=\"1188\"><strong data-start=\"1130\" data-end=\"1141\">Client<\/strong>: The natural person contracting the service.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1189\" data-end=\"1277\"><p data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1277\"><strong data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1203\">Service<\/strong>: A personalized sworn translation in accordance with <strong data-start=\"1251\" data-end=\"1274\">Order AEC\/2125\/2014<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1365\"><p data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1365\"><strong data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1302\">Original Document<\/strong>: The file(s) provided by the Client for translation.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1462\"><p data-start=\"1368\" data-end=\"1462\"><strong data-start=\"1368\" data-end=\"1387\">Digital Delivery<\/strong>: Delivery by email of the sworn translation with an electronic signature.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1533\"><p data-start=\"1465\" data-end=\"1533\"><strong data-start=\"1465\" data-end=\"1483\">Physical Delivery<\/strong>: Hard-copy delivery via a courier service.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1534\" data-end=\"1602\"><p data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1602\"><strong data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1549\">Business Day<\/strong>: Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays in Spain.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1603\" data-end=\"1702\"><p data-start=\"1605\" data-end=\"1702\"><strong data-start=\"1605\" data-end=\"1628\">Start of Service<\/strong>: The moment when the order enters production following validation.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h2>3. Contracting process<\/h2><p data-start=\"1741\" data-end=\"1812\">The service is contracted through <strong data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1795\">direct purchase<\/strong> on the website.<\/p><p data-start=\"1814\" data-end=\"1858\">The contract shall be considered formalized once:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1859\" data-end=\"1976\"><li data-start=\"1859\" data-end=\"1902\"><p data-start=\"1861\" data-end=\"1902\">the Client completes the purchase process,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"1949\"><p data-start=\"1905\" data-end=\"1949\">accepts these Terms and Conditions,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1950\" data-end=\"1976\"><p data-start=\"1952\" data-end=\"1976\">and payment is confirmed.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1978\" data-end=\"2161\">The Client is responsible for carefully reviewing all order details before completing the purchase, including languages, number of pages, delivery method, urgency level, and contact information.<\/p><h2>4. Price, taxes and payment<\/h2><p data-start=\"2201\" data-end=\"2313\">The prices displayed on the website for individual customers include <strong data-start=\"2266\" data-end=\"2273\">VAT<\/strong>, unless expressly stated otherwise.<\/p><p data-start=\"2315\" data-end=\"2349\">Payment can be made by:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2350\" data-end=\"2473\"><li data-start=\"2350\" data-end=\"2380\"><p data-start=\"2352\" data-end=\"2380\">credit or debit card,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2381\" data-end=\"2473\"><p data-start=\"2383\" data-end=\"2473\">supported payment platforms, subject to availability.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2475\" data-end=\"2662\">In the event of a technical or typographical error in the displayed price, iDISC reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the amount paid, notifying the Client as soon as possible.<\/p><h2>5. Start of Service and order validation<\/h2><p data-start=\"2724\" data-end=\"2857\">The Service shall <strong data-start=\"2750\" data-end=\"2809\">begin automatically<\/strong> once payment has been confirmed, provided that the order does not present any issues.<\/p><p data-start=\"2859\" data-end=\"2943\">iDISC may <strong data-start=\"2871\" data-end=\"2891\">place the order on hold<\/strong> if any of the following situations are identified:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2944\" data-end=\"3120\"><li data-start=\"2944\" data-end=\"3022\"><p data-start=\"2946\" data-end=\"3022\">discrepancy between the number of pages contracted and the Original Document,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3023\" data-end=\"3062\"><p data-start=\"3025\" data-end=\"3062\">unavailable language combination,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3063\" data-end=\"3120\"><p data-start=\"3065\" data-end=\"3120\">illegible, incomplete or technically defective file.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3122\" data-end=\"3292\">In such cases, the order will remain on hold until the Client provides a correct version of the Original Document. Delivery times will be adjusted accordingly.<\/p><h2>6. Delivery times<\/h2><h3>6.1 Digital delivery<\/h3><p data-start=\"3351\" data-end=\"3580\">The indicated timeframes are <strong data-start=\"3376\" data-end=\"3389\">estimates<\/strong>, do not constitute an absolute guarantee of delivery, and are subject to correct receipt of payment and documentation, as well as the absence of technical or validation issues.<\/p><ul data-start=\"3582\" data-end=\"3829\"><li data-start=\"3582\" data-end=\"3718\"><p data-start=\"3584\" data-end=\"3718\">Orders placed <strong data-start=\"3603\" data-end=\"3652\">before 12:00 p.m. (Spanish mainland time)<\/strong> on a business day: digital delivery on <strong data-start=\"3689\" data-end=\"3715\">the next business day<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3719\" data-end=\"3829\"><p data-start=\"3721\" data-end=\"3829\">Orders placed <strong data-start=\"3740\" data-end=\"3765\">after 12:00 p.m.<\/strong>: digital delivery <strong data-start=\"3789\" data-end=\"3828\">within up to 2 working days<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3>6.2 Physical delivery<\/h3><p data-start=\"3856\" data-end=\"3984\">Physical delivery is carried out through <strong data-start=\"3894\" data-end=\"3935\">independent courier companies<\/strong> and is offered <strong data-start=\"3948\" data-end=\"3983\">primarily within Spain<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"3986\" data-end=\"4173\">Physical delivery times depend exclusively on the selected courier company and <strong data-start=\"4082\" data-end=\"4117\">are not the responsibility of iDISC<\/strong> once the shipment has been handed over to the carrier.<\/p><p data-start=\"4175\" data-end=\"4361\">Shipments outside Spain may be arranged on an <strong data-start=\"4221\" data-end=\"4245\">exceptional basis<\/strong>, subject to logistical feasibility, specific costs and delivery times, which must be accepted by the Client in advance.<\/p><p data-start=\"4363\" data-end=\"4583\">Where available at checkout, the Client may choose between <strong data-start=\"4393\" data-end=\"4421\">standard or express shipping<\/strong>. The selected shipping method affects transport only and does not modify the production time of the translation.<\/p><h2>7. Nature of service and receiving institution<\/h2><p data-start=\"4642\" data-end=\"4793\">Each receiving agency or institution may establish its own requirements regarding format, medium, legalization or acceptance of sworn translations.<\/p><p data-start=\"4795\" data-end=\"5010\">The Client is responsible for verifying such requirements in advance. iDISC does not guarantee the acceptance of the translation by a specific institution where such requirements have not been confirmed by the Client.<\/p><p data-start=\"5012\" data-end=\"5136\">iDISC shall not be liable for errors resulting from incomplete, altered, illegible, or falsified Original Documents.<\/p><h2>8. Right of withdrawal, cancellations and refunds<\/h2><p data-start=\"5204\" data-end=\"5321\">The Service offered constitutes a <strong data-start=\"5239\" data-end=\"5265\">personalized service<\/strong>, carried out according to the Client\u2019s specifications.<\/p><p data-start=\"5323\" data-end=\"5462\">The Client understands and accepts that placing an order <strong data-start=\"5393\" data-end=\"5448\">automatically triggers the start of the technical production process<\/strong> of the Service.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"5464\" data-end=\"5516\">8.1 Cancellation prior to technical production<\/h3><p data-start=\"5517\" data-end=\"5685\">Cancellation shall only be possible <strong data-start=\"5550\" data-end=\"5610\">provided that the order has not yet entered technical production<\/strong>. Once execution of the Service has begun, cancellation of the order shall no longer be possible.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"5687\" data-end=\"5735\">8.2 Exclusion of the right of withdrawal<\/h3><p data-start=\"5736\" data-end=\"5942\">Once the execution of the Service has begun, <strong data-start=\"5780\" data-end=\"5829\">the right of withdrawal shall not apply<\/strong>, in accordance with current consumer protection regulations governing personalized services.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"5944\" data-end=\"5964\">8.3 Refunds<\/h3><p data-start=\"5965\" data-end=\"6130\">Corrections or refunds may be considered only in cases of serious material errors attributable to the translation, subject to prior review of the case by iDISC.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"6137\" data-end=\"6182\">9. Completion of the Service and liability<\/h2><p data-start=\"6183\" data-end=\"6313\">The Service shall be deemed <strong data-start=\"6210\" data-end=\"6224\">completed<\/strong> at the moment the sworn translation is sent to the Client by email.<\/p><p data-start=\"6315\" data-end=\"6531\">IDISC\u2019s total liability for direct damages arising from the Service shall, in all cases, be limited to the amount actually paid by the Client for the order giving rise to the claim, except where otherwise required by law.<\/p><p data-start=\"6533\" data-end=\"6649\">iDISC shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of business opportunities, or third-party claims.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"6656\" data-end=\"6676\">10. Invoicing<\/h2><p data-start=\"6677\" data-end=\"6758\">The Client <strong data-start=\"6688\" data-end=\"6744\">is entitled to request the corresponding invoice<\/strong> for the Service.<\/p><p data-start=\"6760\" data-end=\"6888\">In the case of individual customers, the invoice may be requested by contacting iDISC through the channels indicated on the website.<\/p><p data-start=\"6890\" data-end=\"7069\">For B2B services and VAT-exempt invoicing, the Client must contact iDISC in advance to allow for manual order processing and verification of the applicable tax requirements.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"7076\" data-end=\"7144\">11.
