Apostille and legalization
As a payslip is a private document issued by an employer, it does not usually bear an apostille on its own. However, in some countries a prior notarization may be required, after which the notarial certification can be apostilled. If the foreign payslip is accompanied by an official document (for example, an employment certificate issued by a public authority), that document may require an apostille or consular legalization.
